Rebecca Ballard, managing director in the Hill+Knowlton Strategies Washington office and head of communication + culture for H+K U.S., has been selected to sit on the PR Council’s first-ever shadow board, PRC Next. The board, which consists of 12 members, will give emerging communications leaders a platform for bringing fresh and diverse perspectives to industry challenges and opportunities.
In her current role at H+K, Ballard promotes and celebrates the firm by positioning its leaders and experts, and managing strategic and engaging internal and external initiatives. Before stepping into this role, Ballard supported a variety of clients covering a broad spectrum of industry sectors and practice areas. Among colleagues, she is known for her strong work ethic and enthusiasm for all things H+K.
“Rebecca’s never-ending commitment to our work and to each of us personally here at H+K cannot be understated,” said Erin Gentry, H+K U.S. president.
PRC Next will raise issues for the PR Council, discuss key initiatives, and work alongside the PR Council’s board of directors. The first meeting is scheduled to take place next month.
