Avra Goldstone Lorrimer

Avra has 20 years experience at big agencies leading integrated, multi-market work for world-famous clients including Walgreens Boots Alliance, Ford Motor Company, Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive and InterContinental Hotels Group. In her current role as Chief Growth Officer, Avra has the opportunity to work across sectors helping businesses and brands to solve complex communications and maintain relevance in the face of disruption.

Avra’s most recent client engagement was as the WPP Global Communications Leader for Walgreens Boots Alliance overseeing four WPP PR agencies across three continents. Working in partnership with WBA, Avra led communications efforts that encouraged vaccination – with a key focus on hesitant audiences. This work was recognized with multiple awards, but what was most rewarding was playing a part in getting more than 50 million people vaccinated against COVID-19.

Avra has a history of leading impactful campaigns that deliver communications and commercial results. Her work has been recognized with industry awards including the Drum’s Marketing Can Change the World award for Duracell’s battery recycling program, the Drum’s Marketing Global Brand Strategy of the Year for Pampers/UNICEF ‘I pack=1 vaccine’ and an Effie for Febreze’s ‘Road Trip from Smell’.

In 2021, Avra was inducted into PR Week’s Hall of Femme and named among the “Top Women in PR” by PR News. She is passionate about progressing the communications industry, and is proud to be called on as a speaker, moderator and awards judge. When not working, Avra is a board member of the New Nature Foundation, an interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania, an aspiring voice-over artist and occasional blogger.
